ATLANTA, Ga. – Kiyah Pittmon (Albany State) was named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Women's Runner of the Week, while Nelson Kipkemboi (Benedict) earned Men's Runner of the Week, released by the league office.

Women's Runner of the Week – Kiyah Pittmon, Albany State

Pittmon led the ASU Golden Rams on Saturday during the Willie Laster Invitational Cross Country Meet. She finished the 5K in 20:26.2, leading the Golden Rams to the team victory.

Men's Runner of the Week – Nelson Kipkemboi, Benedict

Kipkemboi, a freshman, has earned his third weekly honor. The Kenya native finished second overall and the first collegiate to cross the line. He ran 26:08 and helped his team finish 5th overall in the 2021 Koala XC Classic.
