GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Benedict College men's cross country team finished second out of six teams at the Bruins Cross Country Invitational on Saturday on the campus of North Greenville University.
Freshman
Donald Kibet dominated the competition by finishing first overall with a time of 25:30 over the 8K course.
Nelson Kipkemboi finished fourth with a time of 27:11.
Sadiki Marsh finished 17
th with a time of 30:33.51.
Ryusei Takahashi finished 21st with a time of 31:01.03.
Javel Best finished 24th with a time of 31:16.
Devonta Newbold finished 27th with a 31:32, and
Matthew Paul finished 31st with a time of 32:24.
The Tigers will compete in the 2022 Cricket Cross Country Championship, which will be Friday, Nov. 4 at the Georgia Premiere Cross Country Course at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Ga.
