Tigers Finish 19th At Queens Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Benedict College men's cross country team finished in 19th place out of 24 teams at the Royals Challenge on Friday at McAlpine Creek Park.
 
Benedict scored 516 points in a crowded field with some of the top teams in the Southeast.
 
Benedict's top finisher was Javel Best, who ran the 8K course in a time of 30:24.71 to finish in 96th place overall and scored 82 points for the Tigers.
 
Tristan Stowe finished 110th overall with a time of 30:48.84. Braylen Brooks finished 142nd overall with a time of 32:14.67, and Quincy Harris finished 160th with a time of 33:15.61.
 
The Tigers will compete at the Newberry Invitational next Friday.
