CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Benedict College men's cross country team finished in 19
th place out of 24 teams at the Royals Challenge on Friday at McAlpine Creek Park.
Benedict scored 516 points in a crowded field with some of the top teams in the Southeast.
Benedict's top finisher was
Javel Best, who ran the 8K course in a time of 30:24.71 to finish in 96
th place overall and scored 82 points for the Tigers.
Tristan Stowe finished 110
th overall with a time of 30:48.84.
Braylen Brooks finished 142nd overall with a time of 32:14.67, and
Quincy Harris finished 160
th with a time of 33:15.61.
The Tigers will compete at the Newberry Invitational next Friday.
