ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Cross Country Runners of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 22, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances last week. Benedict's Nelson Kipkemboi was recognized as the Men's Runner of the Week, earning the honor for the second week in a row.

Kipkemboi was the top finisher in the Columbia Harden Street XC Challenge head-to-head matchup against Allen. He finished the 6K course in 22:45.3. Benedict took the top four spots in the meet to beat Allen 18-37.

Kipkemboi and the Tigers will compete in the SIAC Championship on Wednesday in Macon, Ga.
