ATLANTA, Ga. – Benedict sophomore outfielder
Jalen McDuffie has been selected to participate in the 2022 Minority Baseball Prospects HBCU All-Star Baseball Game.
The HBCU All-Star Game, presented by the Henry "Hank" Louis Aaron Fund, will be played June 3 at Truist Park in Atlanta, Ga., home of the Atlanta Braves.
McDuffie hit .373 for the Tigers this season, second-best on the team. He had a team-best 16 doubles, which ranked 94th in NCAA Division II. He had an on-base percentage of .492, which ranked 69th-best in Division II.
The HBCU All-Star game is a three-day event, with a social gala on June 1, followed by a free youth clinic and home run derby on June 2. The pre-game Homecoming Experience will take place on June 3 from 3-7 p.m., and will include vendor tents, high school and college battle of the bands, kids sandlot and virtual hitting experience.
