As a playmaker and leader on the court, Law was a key contributor in leading Benedict's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II men's basketball tournament.
A four-year starter at point guard for the Tigers, Law led the team in assists and could be counted on to score when called upon. He was named the men's basketball MVP following the 1976-77 season. He also earned All-Conference and All-District honors. The 1979-80 team went 20-4, was ranked No. 8 in the Sheridan Poll of Black Colleges, and advanced to the NCAA DII tournament.
Following his graduation, Law played professionally overseas for several years, playing for teams in Italy, Spain and the Philippines.
Law currently serves as a consultant with Stock Cross Financial Services, and is also a consultant with Rivals Sports Group, which represents a dozen NBA players. He is also involved in the development of real estate in the Los Angeles area with T&M Investments, which purchases property in the urban area for redevelopment to low-income families.
Law is also the owner and executive director of a youth basketball program named California Supreme Basketball. He has also developed his own non-profit organization, Neutral Grounds, located in Los Angeles. The organization helps youths in gang-infested areas and provides them with coping skills, job interviewing techniques, moral and spiritual values, computer technology training and studying for a GED.
